IHG is once again distinguished as one of the best companies for LGBTQ+ talent in Mexico

HRC awarded it this recognition for its diversity and inclusion practices in favor of safe work spaces and an inclusive culture for its employees

For the second consecutive year, IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has achieved the Equity MX recognition from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which evaluates the labor inclusion practices of the main companies and multinationals in Mexico and grants the certification of the same name to those that present compelling evidence on corporate policies, practices and benefits, focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees.

Inclusive workplaces increase employee engagement and productivity, help remove social stigmas, reduce unconscious biases, improve results, and help attract and retain talent. With Millennials and Generation Z making up 51% of the workforce in Latin America*, an inclusive corporate culture is a priority, as 1 in 6 adults belonging to Generation Z identify as LGBTQ+.
