Travel Next Minas, an event that has established itself as a milestone in the tourism sector, was created with the mission of training travel agents and expanding the tourism market beyond the large traditional centers
According to Aline Glaeser, the event’s creator, the idea was born from the desire to create a space focused on the professional development of travel agents and to highlight the potential of Minas Gerais in the tourism scene. “Travel Next Minas was conceived based on two main desires: to create an event focused exclusively on training travel agents and to open the market’s frontiers beyond the traditional axis of holding large-scale tourism events, reinforcing the potential and qualification of the state of Minas Gerais,” says Aline.
In its second edition, the event, which will take place on August 16 and 17 at Expominas, promises to exceed expectations with the participation of five thousand visitors, 300 stands representing 600 brands and an exhibition area of more than six thousand square meters. “The indicators confirm our plans, open up new possibilities for us and encourage us to continue developing an event that is increasingly bigger and better”, celebrates Aline.
The relevance of the event is evidenced not only by the number of businesses generated – estimated at R$40 million by Sebrae in 2023 – but also by the significant impact on the local economy. “An event of this magnitude moves receptionists, taxi companies, app drivers, restaurants, bars, hotels, laundries, car rental companies, food & beverage suppliers, independent professionals and many others who are part of the tourism industry”, explains Aline.
This year’s event stands out for the innovations and strategic connections offered to participants. Curated by Daniel Turbox, known for his contributions to technology and innovation in tourism, Travel Next Minas will bring new features such as the pillars Travel Lux, Travel Tech and Travel Wellness, as well as robot concierges and gamification at the stands. The fam trips, organized by anchor operators such as Cativa, FRT and Orinter, are also a differentiator, providing a complete experience for travel agents.
The business rounds are one of the highlights of the event, connecting agents and exhibitors effectively. “We know that the vast majority of business deals are initiated during the rounds and progress in the days following the event,” highlights Aline. In addition, a program rich in training will address key topics for professional development, such as sales, innovation, emotional intelligence, technology, marketing and self-management.
Speakers include Sabrina Bull, Cris Mendes, Dr. Marcelo Oliveira, Diana Carvalho, Rogéria Pinheiro, Thais Medina, Daniel Turbox, Deivid Schu, Ney Neves, Fernando Alves, Bruno Barbosa and Thiago Akira, who will share their experiences and insights on trends and strategies in tourism. The Travel Tech space will also feature presentations sponsored by companies such as Hero Seguro Viagem, Geni Travel, Wiki | Zoho and Vale Pay.
With a robust program and a clear focus on the development of tourism in Minas Gerais, Travel Next Minas has established itself as an essential event for professionals in the sector, promoting innovation, training and high-level networking.
