Aeroméxico made its inaugural flight to Puerto Vallarta from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport

This important region will receive 4 new weekly routes from the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico

This Sunday, the first Aeroméxico flight from the new Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) landed in Puerto Vallarta, which aims to complement the demand for operations from the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico to this important tourist region of the Mexican Pacific.

During this afternoon, the International Airport of Puerto Vallarta received travelers from the Santa Lucía Airport, which will have 4 weekly operations to this important city, which are complemented by the 42 frequencies a week from the International Airport of the City of Mexico; which represents an increase of 1,584 new seats per month for the region.

With great expectation, the travelers who arrived in Puerto Vallarta from the recently inaugurated air terminal were received by representatives of the destination, who provided them with different welcome kits. Likewise, as is tradition, Mexican folklore was present and a mariachi received the visitors and part of the crew of this flight, which represents another opportunity for all visitors to the Metropolitan Zone of Mexico to visit the region, enjoy the beautiful and crystalline beaches of the Mexican Pacific, and endless pleasant experiences that can only be lived here.

“We are very excited about the inauguration of this new route to Puerto Vallarta, a destination that has been key for Aeroméxico in recent years. These operations from the Santa Lucía Airport, added to the 42 weekly flights that we currently have from the AICM, reinforce our commitment to tourism in the region, in addition to allowing us to provide more and better travel options to our customers”, highlighted Giancarlo Mulinelli, Senior Vice President of Global Sales of Aeroméxico.

For his part, Luis Villaseñor, Director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Promotion Trust, assured that this inaugural flight “will allow travelers from the Metropolitan Area of ​​the Valley of Mexico to have one more option to come to Puerto Vallarta during the summer and enjoy the great benefits of the destination, its varied gastronomy, its more than 50 outdoor activities, among many more experiences that can only be experienced here, but mainly, in a hospitable and warm environment”.

Puerto Vallarta continues with a frank tourist growth, demonstrating it once again in the last Easter season where excellent results were achieved that exceeded the numbers of 2019 prior to the pandemic, with these new air routes to the destination being part of the success that has been achieved. will have for the next seasons during this 2022.
