Rebooking Options for Customers Impacted by Hurricane Milton Travelling to/from Miami (MIA) and Orlando (MCO)
Dear Trade Partner,
Due to Hurricane Milton, Emirates has invoked our Involuntary Waiver policy for our affected passengers travelling to/from Miami (MIA) and Orlando (MCO), with tickets issued on/before 09th October 2024, for travel between 09th October 2024 and 11th October 2024.
As a reminder, the Involuntary Waiver Policy provides options to customers whose journey has been disrupted due to an involuntary change on their itineraries and covers the following types of disruptions:
- Operational Disruptions (within 72hrs of departure)
- Planned Schedule Changes within EK Control (outside 72hrs of departure)
- Local Disruptions beyond EK Control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest)
Eligibility –
- All EK and EK* operated flights
- All Commercial, Redemption Bookings and Tickets
- Both ticketed and non-ticketed itineraries
- Applied to schedule changes involving OAL provided itinerary is on one document
Eligible itineraries will allow for –
- Rebooking at NOADC allowed within 10 days of the original travel date in any booking class (RBD) within the same cabin.
- Rebooking at NOADC is allowed beyond 10 days of the original travel date in the same booking class (RBD) and within ticket validity.
- When rebooking the OAL segment, tickets must be reissued on same OAL, same route, and same RBD at NOADC.
- During reissuance, ensure to mention remarks ‘INVOL REBOOKED AUTH RO REVOPS’ in the endorsement box to avoid any ADMs.
